Meet your coach, Pete

Bringing over 45 years of riding experience and a career defined by the highest standards of professional operation. As a former UK police-trained government motorcycle surveillance professional, he specializes in the technical application of road craft, the same system of motorcycle control used by elite professional riders.

Pete’s approach is grounded in real-world application, not just theory. Whether you are returning to the road after a hiatus or you are an experienced rider looking to refine your awareness, Pete provides the professional leadership and clear expectations required to master complex environments.

How it works

  • Determine the Baseline: Establish your current skill level and goals for the session.

  • Theory in Motion: Practice advanced positioning for safety and observation through continuous demonstration rides.

  • Constructive Audit: Receive real-time feedback on your performance to identify and resolve specific habits.

  • Full Day Intensive, 8 hrs: A comprehensive deep dive into advanced theory and practice.

  • Introduction to Advanced Theory: Understand the "why" behind professional-level positioning and speed.

  • Observed Rides: Focused time where Pete observes your riding and provides immediate, actionable insights to improve your craft.

Logistics & Requirements

  • Location: Training starts in Chilliwack, BC, you will travel to various areas nearby to practice different elements of the ride. 

  • Equipment: You must provide a street-legal motorcycle in good working order with valid insurance.

  • Licensing: Participants must hold a valid Class 6 motorcycle license, or the equivalent graduated licensing from your home jurisdiction.

  • Safety Gear: Proper riding attire is required, including an approved helmet, eye protection, gloves, riding jacket, pants, and over-the-ankle boots.

  • The Experience: This is a private mentoring program focused on real-world progression. As such, there is no formal exam or certificate; the value lies in the transfer of professional skill and knowledge.

  • International Visitors: If you are traveling from out of province or overseas, contact us to coordinate logistical support, including airport transfers, accommodation, and bike rental.
