FAQs
What kind of trip is this?
Gravel and Gas tours are multi-day motorcycle adventures that explore Canada’s most scenic roads—both paved and unpaved. Think winding highways, forest service roads, remote campsites, cozy cabins, small-town diners, and unexpected detours. These are rides designed for people who want more than just miles—they want a story.

How far do we ride each day?
Most days will range from 250–400km, with stops for fuel, food, photos, and exploring. Some sections may be shorter to allow for more time off the bike—hot springs, hikes, or hanging by a lake. These are not “iron butt” tours; they’re made for riders who love the journey as much as the destination.
Where do we stay?
It depends on the route! Some nights we’ll camp under the stars (we’ll provide gear or a packing list), and other nights we’ll stay in rustic cabins or small locally run accommodations. If sleeping outdoors isn’t your thing, we’ll be offering ride options that are entirely lodge-based too.
How do I reserve a spot?
Leave your email below to get early access to booking, route previews, and limited pre-launch rides. We’ll also offer an option to hold your spot with a fully refundable $25 deposit—plus you’ll get a “Founding Rider” patch for being part of the first wave.
What if it rains?
We ride rain or shine! That said, routes may adjust for safety, and we’ll always have a plan B if the weather gets wild. Bring good rain gear—and a sense of adventure.
What kind of bike do I need?
Most mid-size or larger motorcycles will do just fine! The ideal setup is something comfortable for longer distances and capable of handling light gravel roads. If you’re unsure about your bike, just reach out—we’ll help you decide if it’s a good fit for the terrain. We’ve done these trips on 800cc Ducati Scrambler, Dyna Swithcback, and BMW GS
What skill level is this for?
These tours are best for intermediate riders—you should feel confident riding for multiple hours a day, with some experience on gravel or uneven roads. You don’t need to be an expert off-roader, but a little backroad comfort goes a long way. Newer riders are welcome, and we’ll offer tips and prep support before we roll out.
Can i bring a passenger?
Yes! We love seeing two-up riders. Just make sure both you and your passenger are comfortable with longer riding days and variable terrain. Some accommodations may require advance notice to secure double beds or private rooms.
How much does it cost?
Trips range from $1,250–$2,500 CAD, depending on the length and style of accommodation. That price includes a local guide, fully scouted routes, lodging every night, mechanical support, emergency backup, and even fuel—so all you have to do is ride. These are turn-key moto adventures designed to take the planning off your plate and give you full access to the kind of backroads and hidden gems you’d never find on your own.
